The Roaring Twenties was a time of extravagance and change. The United States had what seemed like an abundance of money and attitudes were positive due to the ending of the Great War. For the first time in US history there was more people living in cities than on farms. Lifestyles were changing rapidly and it was becoming more difficult for people to maintain there good morals as new trends were promoted.
New forms of transportation emerged, making commute easier and enabling people to live in suburbs as opposed to cities. People began to change how they dressed and the roles of women changed drastically. New forms of entertainment and technology gave people more activities to do in their free time. Changes in demographics caused for new forms of payment to be used. The Roaring Twenties is one of the most famous eras in United States history.
